Your safety should always be your number one priority. That said, sometimes accidents happen on the job. Please note that while there is an insurance policy in place to protect you from being liable for damage to customers’ property, the NW Maids platform does not include accidental injury insurance. As an independent contractor, you are not eligible for benefits, unemployment or workers' compensation, so we recommend that you sign up for a health insurance plan for your own protection.

If you feel that you are in danger, please leave the premises and contact your local police, if necessary. If you are injured, please get in touch with emergency services. Once everything is settled, please contact the NW Maids team so we can learn more about the situation.

If you would prefer not to come back to a client’s house again, you can let the NW Maids Support team know after the cleaning and we do our best to assign a different Pro to clean for that client for future cleanings. We want to make sure you are happy.
